How much hair should I purchase for my hair install?

lengths 10-16inches

4oz=1/2 head

8oz=full head

6-8oz=full head with closure

Is this hair Machine weft?

Yes, Machine weft will last a longer time with less shedding. It is easier to work with and will work well with clip ins or when using glue.



How long does virgin hair last?


With proper installation and maintenance, virgin 

hair of any texture can last over one year. The hair can also be taken down and reused for future installs.

 

How should I care for my extensions?

·Treat this hair as you would your own

When sewing in the hair avoid cutting/splitting the tracks, fold them over and continue to sew.

Seal the wefts to reduce risks of shedding

Shampoo and condition hair at least once a week. 

Do not sleep on wet hair. 

Decrease thermal damage by allowing your hair to air dry.

Allow a stylist to chemically color and/or process the hair. 

Avoid using heavy oils, or styling products that contain alcohol.

Comb through hair daily with paddle brush

Cover/wrap hair with satin or silk scarf before bed. 

Wash hair weekly or bi-weekly to avoid build up

Use leave in conditioners

Detangle before washing hair

Gently wash your extensions in one direction, not in circles.

Avoid swimming in chlorine, if so wash hair out as soon as possible

 


Can I dye the hair?

Yes, Hair purchased by Extreme Hair Addiction can be colored. We recommend that you have a stylist professionally apply coloring to the hair. *Extreme Hair Addiction is not responsible for any color mistakes. The hair can be colored darker or bleached if you prefer lighter shades and/or highlights.

What is virgin hair?

Virgin hair is hair that is unprocessed. It hasn’t 

been permed, dyed, colored, bleached, or chemically processed. Virgin Hair comes 

from a donor, and all the cuticles are intact, running in the same 

direction. The hair has not been exposed to harsh chemicals.
